作品由壓克力串聯摺凹，成為一朵朵花浮在河面，讓觀者就像處在荷花池中，象徵月津八景的「蓮寺荷花」。此作品白天透過日光折射呈現壓克力的質感，夜晚燈光則打在不同顏色的壓克力剖面，讓水面上也漂浮著花朵。蓮寺位於今日的修德禪寺，當年寺前有座大池塘, 每到夏日荷香四溢。

原文詩句如下：

觀音亭外芰荷芳，馥郁風生水殿涼，梵宇頓開清淨界，蓮臺空現法輪王，

暑消九夏擎青蓋，香散諸天逗夕陽，鼻觀靜參禪味穎，閒來坐月對銀塘。

This work is made of acrylic. The artist folded the acrylic to make them like flowers floating on the water. It enable visitors to feel like being on the lotus Pond, enjoying the symbol of “Lien Temple's Lotus Flowers", one of the Eight Sceneries in Yuejing. The daylight refracts the acrylic to show its’ texture. Then it lights up the section of different colors of acrylic at the night. The Lien Temple is located in Virtue Temple today. There was a big pond in front of the temple filled with the fragrance of lotus flowers every summer.

“Lotus flowers outside Guanyin Temple show the beauty of exquisite plant. They represent the world free of concerns and worries for the worshipers of the Wheel-turning King. In the summer time, the fragance of lotus flowers gives us the freshness during sunset. In the evening, one can sit by the pond, enjoy the silver moon, and feel the internal Zen.
