古月津八景是鹽水傳頌已久的景象。雖然舊景已非，創作團隊仍藉著燈節的藝術創作，試圖以當代眼光重新詮釋，並藉由新材料的轉化，再現其風華。

鹽水的東門是建於道光年間的四座城門之一。傳說每天清晨時，陽光劃破雲朵斜照大地，映照在城門上的光彩眩目迷人。「東門曉日」詩作即形容：「陽德呈祥城上望，雲霞輝映大瀛洲。」因此創作團隊以一片片金色的雲朵，象徵映照著太陽光芒的祥雲，朵朵祥雲沿街高掛，為老街帶來濃濃的吉祥與祝福。

The eight sceneries at Yuejing in Yenshui have been long known to people. Although these sceneries may be changed, the creation team still attempts to reinterpret it with the contemporary thoughts presented in the artistic creation in this lantern festival. Through the transformation of new material, the charm is re-shown. 

Dungmen of Yenshui was one of the castle gates built in the era of Daoguang Emperor. Legend has it that every morning when the sun shines, the glory reflection on the castle gate amazes people. The poem, “Dungmen Sunrise,” describes the scene as “The glory of sun shines on the castle with prosperities.” Thus, the creation team uses the golden clouds to represent the luck that brings blessings and prosperities to the historical street.
