永成戲院曾為鹽水最重要的戲院之一，節目不限電影，還有重金禮聘的歌仔戲等戲班專場演出，因此場場轟動整個鹽水與鄰近鄉鎮。當年為了吸引觀眾，永成並雇用「行動宣傳三輪車」穿梭街道，增添許多孩子追逐的情趣。

這件作品再現已消失的劇院三輪車，讓它穿越時空繼續扮演宣傳任務。車上投射了一道「歷史記憶之光」於高空中，如同重現古早電影放映機的光與影。這道光並穿梭於月津港四周，也彷彿在高空中招喚著親友，一同入席欣賞今年燈節精彩的演出。

Yungcheng Cinema used to be one of the most important sites in Yenshui. It showed not only films but also opera programs including Taiwanese Opera under the invitation with a high pay. Thus, programs shown here were very popular to attract audiences from Yenshui and nearby towns. In order to attract more audiences, Yungcheng hired a “mobile promotion tri-bike” that went through streets with children chasing behind. 

 This artwork shows us the disappeared cinema tri-bike to allow it to promote programs by transcending space and time. The “light of historical memories” is projected from the bike to the air symbolizing the light and shadow from the old projector used to show the film. This light is also projected around Yuejing Port to call for the participation of families and friends in the wonderful performance of this year’s lantern festival.
