作品表層以紙纖維的毛邊聚集為面，展現有別以往的紙張質感和使用經驗，這樣的狀況下同時模糊了紙和布的界線。藉由紙為媒材，順著紙張的絲流方向撕開後形成平穩的毛邊，再層層匯集為毛面，經由光線照射下凸顯出柔和的纖維毛流，亦透過扭轉的方式，表現毛流的方向性及立體性。而毛邊密集的排列和堆疊下，呈現藍染時的複染動作和等待氧化還原的時間感。

The surface of the work is made of the burrs of the paper fibers. As a medium , paper is torn along the direction of its silk flow to form a smooth burr . The dense arrangement and stacking of burrs, present contrast staining in the indigo dyeing process and a sense of time waiting for redox .
