鹽水蜿蜒的河道形成了彎月狀，故得名「月津」。月亮也是月津港燈節每一年的重要元素。藝術家結合在地著名的月津八景詩句「聚波漁火」為主題，並運用如同月亮的燈球與在地居民共同創作。透過剪下各式各樣的船隻，在燈球上呈現過往「聚波漁火」的畫面。讓在地居民一起在月亮上述說屬於鹽水的故事。

The winding river of Yenshui has the shape of a crescent moon, so it was named “Yuejing.” The moon is also an important element of the Yuejing Port Lantern Festival. The artist adopted ideas for Lights on Fishing Boats”from eight of the local famous Yuejing sceneries, by combining  light bulbs with the symbol of the moon as  a  joint creation with local residents. Boats cut in different sizes and shapes and the light bulbs represent the historic scenes of “Lights on Fishing Boats” helping local residents to tell Yenshui’s unique stories.
