水月橋有三個造型優雅的半圓型拱門橋洞，不妨想像成有三個月亮隱藏在水中。藝術家運用燈光，在橋洞與水面上處理光影，隱喻水月相連。此外，水月橋兩旁已設置敘述鹽水地理與歷史風華的解說牌，走一趟此橋即可深度了解此區。本回月津港燈節的主燈「日光域」也將設置在此橋對岸，水月橋上將是觀賞主燈的最佳位置。

There are three semi-circular arches on Shuiyueh Bridge, resembling three moons hidden on the river. With the lighting, bridge and the water surface are interconnected. Additionally, a signage board with the description of geographical and historical information of Yanshuei has been placed along the two sides of Shuiyueh Bridge that gives more understanding of the town to its visitors. The master lantern of this Yuejin Lantern Festival, “Solar” will be installed to the opposite bank and Shuiyueh Bridge will become the most ideal site for viewing the master lantern.
