鹽水位於急水溪與八掌溪沖積的平原。由此地循著八掌溪往上游源頭去，會經過台南市白河區，即是盛產蓮花與蓮藕之地。藝術家長期運用FRP來創作，這回再度利用此現代材質重新詮釋傳統的蓮花意象，其間的蓮蓬則是動態的，讓這朵蓮花活了起來。藝術家讓源自白河的經典台南意象來到急水溪河畔，增添鹽水月津港燈節更多元的面貌。

Yanshuei is located at the alluvial plane of Jishui River and Bazhang River. Tracing upstream of Bazhang River, one will arrive in Baihe District, Tainan City where is the site of lotus and lotus root. The artist for a long period of time has used FRP for creation. This time he once again uses modern materials to re-interpreted the meaning of lotus. The movable lotus seedpod makes this lotus look vivid. The meaning of lotus origin has been re-seen by the river banks of Jishui River and it gives Yuejin Port of Yanshuei more diversities.
