王爺廟巷內的百年月港王爺廟，除了一樓主祀池府千歲，二樓也供俸保佑小孩平安長大的齊天大聖。本作品融入在地的歷史背景，結合西遊記裡的孫悟空形象，以「孫悟空七十二變」做發想，不僅帶領民眾共同創作，也與歡雅國小課程合作，激發小朋友的想像力，以藝文培養創造力共同完成這件作品。

The Wongye Temple on Zhongshan Road in Yanshui District not only worships “the Plague God ” on the first floor, but also worships “the Monkey King” on the second floor. “The Monkey King” from the famous legend, The Journey to the West, is the guardian god for children’s health and growth. This artwork combines local history and the character from the legend, using the Monkey King’s 72 magical tricks as the inspiration to invite local elementary students to collaborate the different images of the Monkey King. Combing with local educational program, the students from Huanya Elementary School adopt their impressive imagination in their art class to create this work.

About co-creation Project：Through the art studio, the art team invited and led the public to co-create. Though process, it experimented and discovered participants’ courage and creativity.
