It was said that the fishermen would wipe their hands on the brick wall to remove the fish scales from their hands at the end of work. Hence, the alley used to be called, “Scaly Alley.” Using this story as an inspiration, the artists collaborate with Tainan government’s collection, adopting shining materials to resemble fish and scales on the wall. By this artwork, the public might learn the local history while admiring the creation.
