「獸」為一種超越身體的想像，身體的延伸。「光、電」為物理學名詞，同時得以拓展的人類的視野。
藝術家將「光、電」賦予生命力，使自行車橋成為一個類生命現象的聲光裝置作品。位於臺南鹽水的 月津港，擁有著古典的風景美與豐富的人文環境，更有在地的盛事鹽水蜂炮，這些在地的特殊性都 將成為這頭獸的 DNA，並以一年四季交替的自然現象反映在裝置的起承轉合。
 

“Beast” here in this work refers to a conceptual idea that one goes beyond its own body and liberalizes the limits of body. The artist creates a “beast” without form and flesh but with lights and electricity. As a result, the Bicycle Bridge, where the light and electricity are empowered, is transformed into a lively creature. The beast is kept alive with high tech while at the same time it is genetically coded with the historical background and cultural values of Yuejin river.
